ABOUT

I’ve been a vegetarian/vegan for the best part of 18 years and have been eating a high raw diet since 2009.  I’ve always been a vegetarian in my head.

My journey into health and raw plant food has evolved from having a child with autism and an extensive history of cancer in my extended family.

I am currently getting my raw nutrition and coaching certification with David Wolfe, as well as my certification in plant based nutrition with eCornell University.

Although I have done many raw food courses (via The Raw Chef, Russell James) I am not yet certified. However I hope to achieve this once his programme becomes available in London.

My raw food philosophy isn’t about being 100% all of the time. I’ve had long periods of only eating raw and felt amazing. Sometimes I only eat fruit and then I have times when I feel like I could live on raw treats and salad. I also love cooking plant-based meals and eating with my family, whom enjoy a wide range of raw foods but are not raw. I think it’s important to be open and fluid.  I’m about real food and eating it naturally. I don’t promote eating animal products. I have 5 kids and understand how fussy they can be but I am pretty relentless about kids getting the best start in life.

There’s no getting away from the fact that ‘you are what you eat’. Crap food will make you feel crap and function poorly. Eat real food, you deserve it. You deserve to feel amazing and to be the best version of yourself.  Whether you are 25, 35 or 55 it’s never too late to change your habits. Start today by adding more raw plant food to your life.
